Through hotel requests made in June and July of this year, the Portuguese Island of
Madeira has been identified as one of the most luxurious Island retreats for UK holidaymakers. Over the years
Madeira has increased its tourist attractions through the Island being recognised for its spectacular scenery of lush Greenland and amazing cuisine.
Most UK tourists spend their time on the Island soaking up the tropical climate whilst sampling Madeira’s finest wines. Surrounding the dramatic coastlines are divine gardens, vineyards and traditional Portuguese architecture. These are some of the many features that have transformed the small Island into one of the most
popular holiday destinations.
The proximity of the Island to the UK has made it a covenant and ideal summer get away for tourist to locate. There are modern roads built allowing access to the spectacular volcanic structures, mountains and remote villages. The peace and tranquil environment attracts tourists aged 50 and above, however groups and families also visit the Island throughout the year.
